Easel Card

I received a lovely Thanksgiving centerpiece from my Great Aunt Rita Fox, so I have challenged myself to make a special card for her to Thank her. What do you think?

Happy Sunday!
Hope you had a great, enjoyable weekend.
I have posted my take on a Hero Arts slider card. Hope you like it! I made it for my father, who was 78 in February!

Also, I posted some new cards to my Flickr site, if you would like to see. Click Here

Inspirational Video and Challenge

Each day I find myself 'glued' to the computer reviewing my favorite web sites and Hero Arts never fails to capture me! I am going to post a link to one of their videos and then try to recreate the card Jennifer McGuire demonstrates. How about joining me? Send me a link to your blog or photo of your card and I'll post it here for all of us to share- and ohh and Ahh over. Won't that be fun? Here is the Link to the VIDEO. Let's set a deadline for posting by Jan 19th (Tuesday). Have FUN!

Snow Day

Well, it's finally PROPERLY snowing!

I feel like I am inside of a snowglobe!

I made some cards this past weekend because I've started a new job, and I thought I might not get back to my 'table' in some time.
My first card to share is taken from Hero Arts. I just love this stamp set. So sweet.

This next card is for my friend Myrna who is 53 today! YEAH! Now, I will have to mail it so she will get it belated. Sorry MGB!

New cards and my Flickr feed

I am slowly figuring out how to work this blog business. I have added a slideshow at the bottom of my page so you can view my cards.
I have more tools now so my cards have progressed, somewhat. However, I am always looking out to get more 'toys' to play with! So, today I commented on http://thestorymatters.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-year-fabulous-rak.html to win a fabulous I-top tool. Come and join me!

First steps

Well what do you know, I have a blog. It seems there are millions that have already taken this step. I decided to post a blog so I could showcase my handmade cards.

This new passion of card making started with making announcements for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary in June of 2009. Now I have a huge stock of stamping supplies!
I am posting my submission to Caardvarks http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/ here:
